Cornerstone Insurance Plc, a leading player in the Nigerian insurance industry, paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos State Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Abayomi Oluyomi, at his office in Alausa, Ikeja. The visit was led by the Managing Director/CEO, Mr. Stephen Alangbo, alongside other top executives of the company.
During the meeting, discussions centered around fostering closer collaboration between the public and private sectors to promote economic development in the state, improve financial inclusion among the populace through accessible insurance products, and support the state government’s initiatives on risk management, and infrastructure development.
Receiving the Cornerstone delegation, the Lagos State Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Abayomi Oluyomi, commended the company for its efforts in financial risk management for both the state and its citizens.
He said, “Lagos state recognizes the importance of a robust insurance sector in ensuring the sustainability of infrastructure development and reducing risk across various sectors of our economy. We are committed to working with trusted partners like Cornerstone Insurance to create an enabling environment for both businesses and residents to thrive,” he stated.
In his remark, the Managing Director/CEO, Cornerstone Insurance Plc, Mr. Stephen Alangbo maintained that the visit marks a step in the company’s efforts to deepen its ties with key stakeholders, ensuring that its services align with the evolving needs of the public while contributing to the growth of Lagos State’s economy.
