(Lagos, Nigeria — August 21, 2024) Cornerstone Insurance Plc, winner of the AIO African Insurance Company of the Year, has taken its leadership position further with the opening of a new digital office in the highbrow area of Lekki Lagos.
The Lekki outlet, which was officially opened to the public on Wednesday, is expected to meet the needs of the underwriting firms existing and potential customers within the axis.
Speaking at the event, the Managing Director/CEO of the company, Stephen Alangbo, said the unveiling of the office was to further project Cornerstone’s commitment to customer satisfaction and retail development.
“I am excited today to open our model office to all our clients in this axis and we will continue to assure them of better services “Our Cornerstone model office is equipped with digital work station where you can walk in and transact business with ease.
“If you want to buy your motor insurance policy, you want to buy life insurance policy and you are having issues with it, just get into the digital room and get your insurance bought.
“We will continue to innovate, we will continue to get closer to the people through digital means. To our customers and prospective customers, we are happy with your loyalty all through the years.
“We have been described as the most profitable insurance company and Africa Company of the Year. We design products to support insurance penetration in Nigeria.
“As an organisation, integrity is our watchword, and as an organisation we are very innovative. We see the insurance and financial needs of the clients and we advise them on their insurance needs; financial literacy and education.

Also speaking at the event, the General Manager, Business Development, Charles Nwachukwu, said: “We are not opening branches just for opening sake. We open them to meet the specific needs of our clients.
“We are licensed to do both general and life. I don’t think there is any business you will bring to Cornerstone today that we can’t underwrite. Today, it is not just the brick and mortar that is driving the business, we also have the digital space.
“Whether you like it or not, we must have done something extraordinary to become the African Insurance Company of the Year. It was not done in Nigeria, it was done far away, others competed and we came first. So we intend to continue to drive aggressively”, he said.
The Regional Manager, Lagos Region 4, Mojolaoluwa Ajibade, while expressing her excitement at the new office, said, “Truly, we put our customers first, we listen to them and we try as much as possible to address all of their requests.
